UnstFest Carnival

Unst’s 2nd Summer Carnival will take place in and around Baltasound on Tuesday 19th July – the perfect end to UnstFest 2011.

Led by the 2011 Uyeasound Up Helly Aa Jarl Squad, the Carnival will include trailers and floats of all shapes and sizes  in a parade winding its way towards the Baltasound Hall where The Silver Penguins will be performing.

Enter your float (or yourself) as soon as possible and dust down some Up Helly Aa outfits or even old squads from years gone by! A fun evening out for all the family as a participant or a spectator!

Date: Tuesday 19th July 2011

Venue: Floats and participants on foot to muster at Leisure Centre Car Park

Route: Leisure Centre Car Park / SHE / Gutter Street / Skibhoul / Baltasound Hall

Time: Floats & all participants to Muster @ 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Price: £10 per float or £1 per participant on foot.
