REVIEW: Gutter Street Kartie Race

Posted in : Event Reviews & Images

The 1st ever UnstFest Kartie race was held at Gutter Street (Baltasound) on Friday night. The weather remained favourable for almost all of the races and a huge turnout congregated on the path to watch the action take place.

Over 20 karties were entered in the various heats and it made for some exhilarating viewing for the 200+ spectators who turned out to watch. The karties came in all shapes and sizes with decorated coffins, wheelchairs, mario karts, 4-legged friends and many more.

The Stig from Top Gear made an (unofficial) appearance along and some racers who motored down the road in the comfort of their own armchair.

Photos and videos are on the facebook site, and some are shown below.
