The dates for UnstFest 2013 have been set, so clear your diaries, get the time off work and book flights/boat/bus/bike or lift that will get you to Unst in 2013.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Theatre Death Race performance and the Silent Film Viewings at the Baltasound Hall tonight are cancelled. UnstFest Committee apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Following on from the success of last year’s Extreme Ironing competition, this year’s photo competition for the whole of Unst 2012 is ‘Supermanning’. Get the best photo of yourself, on Unst, performing a Superman pose with your Y-fronts on the outside of your trousers and email it to info@unstfest.org or upload it to the Facebook site.
The best pose wins the top prize of £50, so use your superpowers to come up with the best photo. And good luck!
The 2013 festival is the 5th UnstFest and looks to be another bumper year of events, activities and excitement, on the most northerly island in Britain.
