Get your crash helmets on for taking part in the first ever Gutter Street Kartie Race.
Bring along your home made Kartie and see how it fares against the competition. Races for men, women and children and prizes to be won. Fancy dress is essential and helmets must be worn during the race. Spectators most welcome.
Celebrate lifting the silverware afterwards in the Baltasound Hall where the bar will be open and the prizes will be awarded.
Date: Friday 13th July 2012

Price: Free admission but all Karties must be booked into the competition.

The garden at the recently refurbished Belmont House is being developed into a community garden – open to the public the whole year through. In spring time a riot of daffodils, it is slowly being restored into it’s original Georgian splendor. Come along and have a look at how the work is coming along.

Please note that access into Belmont House itself will not be available, however this may change nearer Unstfest dependant on whether private bookings have been made. Please keep an eye out for additional advertising nearer the time if the House can open it’s doors.

Come along and meet Dot and Michael Rae who have live in the Zero Carbon House. It was designed to embrace the concept of low carbon living, using low cost/high efficiency technology to create a comfortable and affordable lifestyle in any climate.
If you are interested in ways to cut your carbon foot print and reduce your energy usage then this is the house and garden for you.
Children welcome, easy disabled access and refreshments provided. Parking is limited so additional parking areas are available at the Uyeasound Galley Shed or the Uyeasound School.
