Dear Parent,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Baltasound JHS is closed for pupils this week, the staff\nhave been busy organising materials and resources that students can work\nthrough at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later today, the staff will be dropping off packs of work\nfor our Primary students to work through. We will endeavour to deliver this to\nyour door although if you are not home, you can contact the school with an\nalternative time that suits. All Upper Primary and Secondary pupils have a\nlogin for Glow \u2013 this is a secure online area where students can access Microsoft\nOffice (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc) and Glow Blogs. If any student\nhas forgotten their username\/password, please phone the school and the staff\nwill be able to sort this. Students will be asked to use their Glow blogs in\norder to share what they are learning, the skills they are developing and the\ncareers that need these skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For our Secondary students, the staff have been uploading\nmaterials to Glow and all students should regularly check their Glow emails to\nensure they are keeping up to date with tasks set by their subject teachers.\nSeveral subjects and the Upper Primary class have also setup a Microsoft Team\nin order to share information\/activities and keep in regular contact with each\nother. I would ask parents to remind their child to ensure they are using these\nfacilities responsibly and appropriately; all of us supporting each other to\nget the most out of learning from home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
