“Brydon enjoyed a fun afternoon out with S3 and S4 pupils of Baltasound Junior High School<\/a> with biology teacher, Mrs Tarby (assisted by Mrs Fraser yesterday, with the help of fellow team SN member, Mike Pennington. The outing was an introduction to Shetlands Otters and part of a longer running project Brydon has been planning with Mrs Tarby and her biology pupils- more on that to follow in coming months\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of last weeks Unst activity week, Mike also had pupils out on Hermaness and Keen of Hamar National Nature Reserves, hoping to inspire and educate pupils, if not already aware just how special and exciting the natural environment of the island they live on really is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many thanks to both teachers and pupils for their enthusiasm and interest- we are looking forward to working closely on the project.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
