This year at Baltasound School one of our key improvement priorities is to develop our use of play as a way for young people to learn and develop across the whole school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been starting to embrace this over the last few years, especially in Early Years and the Lower Primary classes. Earlier this year we also appointed a Support Worker (play) in Mrs Doull to further support the Primary classes in this journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have also been fortunate to be one of only 10 schools in <\/a>Scotland who are Pilot schools working towards the Play Scotland Play Pedagogy Award (in collaboration with Education Scotland) over the next 2 years and hoping to fully embed play in our day to day life and ethos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
