Our Lower and Middle Primary classes had a wonderful afternoon hosting an afternoon tea for the Unst over 60s. Both classes learned some amazing facts about what life was like for grannies and grandads when they were younger. To prepare we created posters to advertise the event in the community, we made bannocks and fancies to share with our guests, created a playlist of their favourite music and prepared a range of questions to ask. We had a brilliant time and would like to thank all our guests for coming along and sharing their experiences and photographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
