Every child received a book token to discover their next great read .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nursery took part in Stop and Read ![\"⏹️\"](\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tbd\/1\/16\/23f9.png\")

, helping them engage in short bursts of reading and build positive associations with books. They also took part in a fairy tale hunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Middle Primary pupils built book worlds from a range of materials, creating settings from their favourite stories. This task developed their creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upper Primary demonstrated their mathematical understanding through book-themed tasks involving addition, measurement, decimals, statistics, money, and scale and ratio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Secondary students took part in a book-themed anagram hunt organised by our wonderful Reading Ambassadors ![\"🔎\"](\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t42\/1\/16\/1f50e.png\")
. Some secondary pupils also experienced a special digital Harry Potter and the Cursed Child event, going behind the scenes with the cast, crew, and backstage team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Staff were invited to take part in a writing competition celebrating creativity throughout the school. The winners were Mr Spence (1st), Ms Nicholson (2nd), and Ms Thomson (3rd) ![\"✍️\"](\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/te2\/1\/16\/270d.png\")
