‘Let Da Stons Spaek’ BJHS Project Looks To Discover The Past

An intergenerational project in the Baltasound Junior High School called ‘Let Da Stons Spaek’ is looking for folk to get involved!

The project will have pupils working with the National Trust for Scotland to build an Unst interactive app for a mobile device. The app will produce sounds of specific places in Unst as it would have sounded 2000 years ago as well as other sounds, perhaps oral history or music, which are inspired by each place.

OPEN DISCUSSION ON 12TH JANUARY AT 6-8PM IN THE BALTASOUND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

Pupils are keen to hear from people who have stories from different areas of Unst, or are wiling to show an area of the island that is worth further investigating.
