Robbie Burns

Upper Primary have been learning about Robert Burns. They researched information about him and his life and shared this learning with the lower primary at assembly. This fantastic piece of artwork of Robert Burns was done by upper primary. We had discussed an artist called Chuck Close who creates portraits through grid systems. Everyone in upper primary were given their own grid that was part of a bigger picture, to which they had to paint with either primary or seconday colours. They had no idea what the overall picture was going to be so this was a nice surprise for them.
