Da Voar Redd Up 2015
|As per tradition, BJHS as a whole school took part in the 2015 Da Voar Redd Up. For those unfamiliar with ‘reddin up’, this involves a group or organisation taking the on the responsibility of cleaning up and picking up any rubbish (‘bruck’ being the Shetland word for rubbish) and bagging it up to be collected by the Shetland Amenity Trust.
Every year, from Nursery all the way to S4, we take on the stretches from Skeotaing in towards Skibhoul and from Hamar towards Skibhoul also. This year we had the pleasure of it being a nice, although cold, day for the Redd Up.
