Reuse and Recycle

Our S3 Practical Woodwork pupils have been putting a new lease of life into old, unused pallets. Kindly donated by the community, they have taken them apart (careful not to split them), sourced online plans and followed them to create various items from pallet wood. So far, we have made Christmas Trees (with lights!), tables and chairs.

When the better weather comes, we are looking at what outdoor furniture and resources we could build for around the school (linking in to our School Improvement Plan priority – Outdoor Learning).
