Songs Of Centenary – Workshop

In conjunction with the RAF and the Never Such Innocence programme, our Secondary students took part in a workshop with RAF 100 artist in residence, Marty Longstaff. This involved students learning more about World War 1 and the men and women who fought and those we remember.

It was an excellent experience for our students and complimented the work done by the same students in Primary 7, where they worked with the Unst Heritage Trust staff in order to develop an Android app which told the story of Unst’s role in World War 1 and those who served their country.
