Coding Lego with RAF STEM Team – Sept 22

Huge thanks to the RAF STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) team who put our P4-S3 pupils through their paces today. They were tasked to build their own robots with lego and code them to be able to move forwards/backward/spin and make noise in order to have a race. They then had to use their imaginations to build their own animals with lego, motors, lights and sensors. Everyone was engaged from start to finish and when asking the bairns to evaluate the day and think of what they had been doing/learning they said: problem solving, team work, innovating, communicating, engineering, using our imagination, coding, building robots as well as having lots of fun!
