People Who Help Us – Unst Health Centre

On Wednesday 20th September, Lower Primary pupils went to the Unst Health Centre as the final visit as part of their People Who Help Us topic. And what a fantastic afternoon they had! A hands on experience learning about the equipment used by the nurses, making appointments and prescribing medicine, exploring the ambulance with the ambulance volunteers, and asking the doctor questions about his job. The pupils had such an exciting afternoon and gained some very valuable insights as to the many jobs undertaken within the Doctor’s surgery.
