Loch Insh Trip

After hitting our fundraising target (with help from #cookescotland, Sandisons Trust, NYDC, UCC, YCC, Viking Community Benefit Fund and all the generous people from the North Isles), everyone of us travelled to Loch Insh Outdoor Centre. We had to travel 384 miles (over 20 hours) by bus, 2 inter island ferries, an overnight ferry and another bus journey, but we all made it in one piece.

We had a blast and tried all the activities on offer – sailing, skiing, paddle boarding, Jungle Float, tubing, snow boarding, bushcraft skills, kayaking, raft building, den building and even more. We made new friends and learned valuable life experience by being away from home, mostly for the first time.

It was a fantastic experience and one we will never forget. Huge thanks to all who made it possible especially the generous support from Cooke Aquaculture Scotland.
