Play Ambassadors

We’re proud to introduce our Play Ambassadors at Baltasound Junior High School!

This brilliant group of pupils are helping to champion and develop play across our school. They’ll be meeting regularly with Mrs Doull to talk about how play is going, gather ideas from other bairns, and help us keep improving what we offer.

Play has been a huge part of our school improvement journey, and we’re currently working towards the Play Scotland Play Pedagogy Award, which we hope to achieve in 2026. Our Play Ambassadors will play an important role in this by sharing ideas, gathering feedback, and even creating short videos showing play in action around the school.

Keep an eye out for their work, and feel free to add ideas to the Play Ambassador suggestion box when you’re in the school!
