P1 and P2 – Bring Your Parent To School Day

P. Thomson | October 6, 2017 | News, Parental Engagement | No Comments

Wow! Yesterday, we had our first Lower Primary Bring Your Parent to School Day, for P1 and P2. and it was a fantastic success. Every one of our P1 and P2 brought in a family member (some brought 2!) and they stayed the whole day, following a typical day in Lower Primary.

The feedback received from parents was insightful and fully demonstrated that this approach to family learning was a very positive step for the school.

Comments such as “loved seeing them in their school environment”, “great to see how they interact”, “a better understanding of where they are in their learning”, “a great afternoon and experience” and “getting to know where my child is in their education”.

It was great to see so many parents engaged with their child’s learning and we hope to see you in school again soon.
