Follow The Vikings

Today we were proud to be part of a linkup with the Follow the Vikings roadshow and the Jorvik Viking Centre. In the morning, we had a live Skype linkup with the Jorvik Viking Centre where we learned more about Viking culture and traditions and got to ask questions about our own past, on the northern tip of the UK.

In the afternoon, we had a live storytelling session with the Follow the Vikings, and we got to hear about the serpent Jormungandr and it’s battles with the mighty Thor. A great experience that had all the students on the egd eof their seats.
