Pupil Equity Funding – Participatory Budgeting

Pupil and Parent Council members came together for a participatory budgeting event to decide how some of our school’s PEF money would be used. PEF, or Pupil Equity Funding is provided to schools to help reduce the impact of poverty on children’s learning and wellbeing.

The group worked through 37 different ideas and proposals, suggested by staff and pupils from across the whole school. After careful discussion and evaluation, funding was then awarded to 22 of these projects this morning, supporting a wide range of resources and initiatives for our learners.

Thank you to our Pupil Council members and to Linda and Victoria from the Parent Council for giving their time and working together to support our school community.
