Shetland Young Fiddler Competition – WINNERS!
A huge congratulations to BJHS students Bryden Priest and George Spence for winning trophies in this year’s Shetland Young Fiddler 2015 Competition.
Bryden, from Uyeasound, won the overall title of Shetland Young Fiddler Of The Year 2015. A fantastic achievement and richly deserved for a greatly talented student who plays both accordion and fiddle.
George, also from Uyeasound, won the in the Intermediate (Traditional), Intermediate sections along with winning Best Played Waltz and getting 3rd place in the Best Composition category. A remarkable achievement for a very talented musician.
Well done Bryden and George.
