Outdoor Play – Grand Opening
Yesterday we celebrated the official opening of our new outdoor play equipment, installed over the summer. Alvi and Leah, our Upper Primary Pupil Council members, helped organise the event and did a brilliant job cutting the ribbon. We were delighted to welcome Emma and Ben from the SIC, who supported the planning and funding, and Adam from Sandisons, who installed the equipment. Everyone enjoyed juice and cake afterwards in the canteen.
The new equipment has already been a big hit with pupils across the school. The slide, climbing nets and fireman’s pole are encouraging children to be active, take turns and challenge themselves in a safe and fun environment. Pupils are developing balance, coordination and strength while also building confidence and teamwork through play. It has been wonderful to see so many happy faces at break times as everyone explores and enjoys the new space together.
