YPI Finals
Baltasound and Mid Yell JHS YPI Finals.
Our S3 pupils travelled to Yell to take part in the Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) final presentations, sponsored by the Wood Foundation and Arven.
After researching local social issues and charities which support them, each group chose a charity to represent, then created a presentation to deliver to staff, pupils and the judges.
Congratulations to the winning team who represented Shetland Bereavement Support Services, a worthy charity who will make good use of the £3000 prize fund.
Special thanks to the judges who had a hard task separating the groups who all delivered confidently, clearly and passionately.
